Friends belongs to a changing world, and we contribute to these changes. In our reimagining of this place called school, we aim to make our educational programs relevant and responsive to that world and have been guided by these essential queries:

• How is the world changing?
• How can a Quaker education—its philosophy and practices—uniquely equip our students to understand, respond, serve, and lead effectively in today’s world?
• Do our educational programs develop the skills and knowledge that students need for the changing global community?
• How can we support through our educational programs the world that ought to be?

The strategic planning process has identified ENGINEERING and GLOBAL EDUCATION as two programs that Friends believes will enhance existing academic programs and help prepare students for this changing environment by emphasizing the competencies that are particularly relevant today.
