With our feet rooted in the past, while our eyes are turned to the future, it was only fitting that Friends work with alum Multimedia Director, Nico Marcellino ’90, who designed Friends Seminary’s first website in 1997 at the age of 25.

The Marcellino Family has been a creative force behind Friends’ branding and communications since 1976. Nico’s mother, artist Jean Marcellino, designed the school’s logo, which was used from 1978 to 2010. The current school logo was designed to preserve much of the same aesthetic and elements Jean created. Nico’s father, the famous illustrator Fred Marcellino, designed elaborate Spring Fair posters during Nico’s time at Friends. Nico’s children, Isabella ’21 and Alfredo ’24, attended Lower School at Friends.
